It is expected to starting form where the second part left off and follow the story of Arulmozhivarman (Vikram) as he sits on the throne and becomes one of the greatest rulers in Indian history.
Here are some possible ideas for the Ponniyin Selvan 3 movie:
- One possibility is that the film will focus on the rise of Arulmozhivarman (Ponniyin Selvan) as the new Chola emperor. In the second film, we see Arulmozhivarman returning to Tanjore after his successful military campaign against the Pandya kingdom. However, he is faced with many challenges- enemy conspiracies, and the health of his father, Sundara Chola.
